From the NorthWest
From Ukiah, and places North on Highway 101:
- Take Highway 101 to Calpella
- Go East on Highway 20. Go 40 miles, until you pass the town of Clearlake Oaks.
- Turn right (South) on Sulphur Bank Drive.
Go 3 miles, until you can see Borax Lake on your left.
- Turn right (West) on North Drive.
Go 2½ miles, until when near the end of the peninsula,
you get to a tee where the road to the right does not go through.
- Turn left on Crestview Drive.
Go less than a quarter mile, until a dirt road forks off to the left.
- Keep right when the road forks at Lakeshore Drive.
Go 1½ miles,
until you get to a small hamlet in a hollow on the left, with wooden street signs.

Turn left at Palo Alto Drive
(the first street in the hamlet, by the house with the white picket fence).
- Follow the directions to my place.
Note: This is the shortest, fastest, and most scenic way.
If this sounds too rural for you, you may go East on Highway 20 an additional 2½ miles,
turn right on Highway 53, and pick up the directions from the East.
From the East
From Chico, Marysville, and Sacramento:
- Take Highway 5 to Williams
- Go West on Highway 20. Go 35 miles.
- Turn left (South) on Highway 53.
Go 3.5 miles until you see a sign for Olympic Drive.
- Turn right (West) on Olympic Drive.
Go 1¾ miles to Lakeshore Drive

Turn right (NorthWest) on Lakeshore Drive (by City Hall)
- Follow the directions to Pirate's Cove
From the SouthWest
From Sonoma County, Napa Valley, and Lakeport:
- Take Highway 53 or Highway 29 to the town of Lower Lake.
- Go North 3 miles on Highway 53.
- Turn left (West) at the light onto Lakeshore Drive (W. 40th Street).

Go 1¾ miles, past City Hall.
- Follow the directions to Pirate's Cove
To Pirate's Cove
From Clearlake City Hall:

Continue out Lakeshore Drive.
Go 2½ miles, until the road bends to the right and goes up a hill.
- Turn left (West) at the tee at the top of the hill.
- Lakeshore Drive will continue West, running across the hillside.
Go out another mile.

Bear left when the road forks at Crestview Drive.

Go along Lakeshore Drive another half mile.
The road will drop down the hillside and run along the shore.
There will be a small hamlet in a hollow on the right.
Turn right at Palo Alto Drive
(the last street in the hamlet, by the house with the white picket fence).
- Follow the directions to my place.


To My Place
From Pirate's Cove:

Go up the hill a couple blocks,
weaving to the left around the neighbor's parking lot.

Park at the red cabin. Try to leave room for someone to get around you.
